I work at the University of Nottingham’s Nottingham Geospatial Institute. Within NGI I am the theme leader for the Geospatial Science theme, the successor to the original Centre for Geospatial Science.

Prior to Nottingham, I was Lecturer in GIS in the Department of Photogrammetry and Surveying Geomatic Engineering Civil, Environmental and Geomatic Engineering at UCL until September 2009. (I’m still an Honorary Senior Lecturer in CEGE).

This blog is intended to mostly be work-related and thoughts relating to my role in NGI but I suspect some extraneous content from the rest of my life will sneak in too. It is all personal thoughts and none of it forms official communication from NGI or the University of Nottingham!

I also use Twitter (a lot more than I blog) – follow me on jeremy_morley.

And I suppose it’s useful to have a real photo somewhere on the web:
